Description
The Merkur XR4Ti was Ford's bold attempt to bring a European sport sedan to American buyers, based on the Ford Sierra and powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. Sold exclusively through Lincoln-Mercury dealers from 1985 through 1989, the XR4Ti developed a cult following for its distinctive biplane rear spoiler and engaging driving dynamics. The factory dashboard vinyl deteriorates from UV and heat exposure over time, and replacement parts for these rare cars are extremely scarce. This Dashtop molded dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the XR4Ti's European-designed instrument panel, installing directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation.
Clean the existing dash surface, apply the included silicone adhesive, and position the Dashtop overlay.
