Description
The Dodge Aspen and Plymouth Volare replaced the legendary Dart and Valiant for the 1976 model year, introducing a new compact platform that became one of Chrysler's best sellers of the late 1970s. Unfortunately, the factory dash pad on these cars is highly susceptible to surface cracking and deep checking caused by prolonged UV exposure and temperature extremes. This Dashtop molded dash cover is formed from UV-resistant ABS plastic and installs directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation, instantly concealing cracks and restoring the instrument panel to a clean, factory-fresh appearance.
The included tube of silicone adhesive bonds the overlay permanently to the original pad, creating a secure fit that eliminates rattles and movement. Simply clean the dash surface, apply the adhesive, and set the cover in place. After curing, the Dashtop overlay provides lasting protection against future sun damage while giving your Aspen or Volare a renewed interior presence.
