Description
Ford's intermediate platform spanned a wide family of vehicles from 1972 through 1979, including the Torino, Gran Torino, Elite, LTD II, Ranchero, and fifth-generation Thunderbird, along with Mercury's Montego and Cougar. All of these models share the same basic dashboard architecture, and after decades of exposure the factory vinyl pad cracks extensively across the top surface. This Dashtop molded dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the shared instrument panel contours, installing directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation.
To install, clean the original dash pad, apply the included silicone adhesive, and position the Dashtop overlay. The molded cover seats firmly against the factory contours and bonds permanently once cured, eliminating rattles and fully concealing the cracked surface beneath.
