What are the benefits of the 1 and 2 piece covers for the 07-14 GM Trucks?

The benefits of using the one piece cover are that there are fewer seams for your eyes to catch, making it blend in better and look a little more factory-original, and being a unibody design makes it structurally more rigid and usable in situations where you are missing bigger sections of dash. The two piece kit allows for removal of the smaller front defrost section (to replace the light sensor) without having to take the dash covers off of the dash, which for some is a huge selling point; but bear in mind since there IS a small gap between the two pieces, any cracks you may have where the gap is might be visible, so if you have lots of cracks or holes, the one piece is definitely the way to go.

Details

100% silicone RTV adhesive, this is the size tube shipped with any dash cover we sell. Apply a bead atop any fractures on your dash, and outline any holes just before installing your skin; this way the weakest spots on the dash are securely adhered to the skin for added structural integrity. Please note that all of our dash covers include enough silicone for installation, an installer would only require extra silicone for serious jobs with LOTS of cracks on the dash that need to be glued during the install process for extra support. For dash cover installation, only use 100% Silicone RTV adhesive. Never use epoxies or anything besides silicone adhesive as this could void your warranty on the dash cover and behave unpredictably. Not all adhesives are plastic safe!
